The New Testament word for "fellowship," koinonia, expresses the idea of being together for mutual benefit. Hebrews 10:24-25 shares this idea, saying, "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." Two reasons fellowship with other believers is important are because it helps express love to one another and it encourages good works.

Misery
Satan deceives people into thinking that the source of their misery is due to their circumstances and what is going around them, but actually, the real trouble is due to what is going on inside them. When our focus is on God and His sovereignty, our attitudes begin to change.
God does not preserve believers from difficult circumstances, but he examines (or tests) both the righteous and the wicked. For some, God's tests become a refining fine, while for others, they become an incinerator for destruction.
GOD HAS A REASON for allowing things to happen. We may never understand His wisdom, but we simply have to TRUST HIS WILL.
