Mother's love

Your Mother carried you inside of her womb for nine whole months, she felt sick for months with nausea, then she watched her feet swell and her skin stretch and tear.  She struggled to climb stairs, she got breathless quickly and even a simple task like putting her shoes on was a huge struggle for her.  She suffered many sleepless nights while you kicked and squirmed inside of her and while you demanded that she scoffed junk at 3 am, she then went through EXCRUCIATING PAIN to bring you into this world.  She became your nurse, your chef, your maid, your chauffeur, your biggest fan, your teacher, your agony aunt and your best friend.  She's struggled for you, sacrifices her dreams to make your dream come true.  She even cried over you, fought for you, put herself second for you, hoped the best for you and has driven herself insane with worry for you but never has she asked for anything in return because she loves you and did it all on love alone!  Most of us take our Mum for granted but there are people who have lost or have never even seen theirs.  If you have a loving Mother who did all of this for you, you are very lucky, never devalue her worth because one day, you'll wish you hadn't!

Mother

"A mother's love is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking, it never fails or falters, even though the heart is breaking" - Helen Rice

A mum is the one who believes in you - even when you have trouble believing in yourself.
She's the teacher who, more that anyone else, teaches you how to live.
She's the friend who's there when other friends walk away.
She's the nurse that nursed our pains and cheered our gains.
She's our chef, our maid, our chauffeur, our biggest fan,  and our best friend.
She's struggled for us, cried over us, fought for us, put herself second for us, hoped the best for us and has driven herself insane with worry for us but never has she asked for anything in return because she loves us and did it all on love alone!

Most of us take our Mums for granted but there are people who have lost or have never even seen theirs.  If you have a loving Mother who did all of this for you, you are very lucky, never devalue her worth because one day, you'll wish you hadn't!

Mother's Day with a Korean Taste

M-O-T-H-E-R
"M" is for the million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,

"H" is for her heart of purest gold;
"E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
"R" means right, and right she'll always be,

Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER,"
A word that means the world to me.
- Howard Johnson

M is for magnificent
O is for one of a kind
T is for truthful
H is for helpful

E is for energetic
R is for really loving
Mother's Day this year were a different. We were treated with a Korean dinner at Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant in Tanjong Tokong, by Allan Ooi.

A good mother loves her family and provides an atmosphere where each member can find acceptance, security, and understanding. She is there when the children need a listening ear, a comforting word, a warm hug, or a loving touch on a fevered brow. - Richard De Haan

GODLY MOTHERS NOT ONLY BRING YOU UP, THEY BRING YOU TO GOD

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL MOTHERS NOT ONLY ON THIS SPECIAL DAY BUT ALSO ON EVERYDAY OF THEIR LIFE.

World's Highest Paid Professions - Mother

Mother's profession can be categorized as a Research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations. Their job is never done and it never will be until they finished their journey here. They are not paid much in terms of monetary but they are mainly rewarded emotionally. To most mothers, family time is the most important as it is a time of bonding. It is here where their children interact for information and advice.
Most of the efforts, sacrifices, and expressions of love our mother have given us are usually not recognized or appreciated but they are genuine.

Laura Prieto, an associate professor of history and women's studies in Boston said : Mothers Day was meant to be, and still is, an ideal of motherhood, when mothers were supposed to dedicate themselves to nurturing their children and making a cozy, safe home.

On this special day, may we thank God for the mothers who have molded our hearts. As we honour them, we fulfill the truth of Proverbs 31:28 - Her children rise up and call her blessed: Her husband also, and he praises her.

"A MOTHER WILL ALWAYS LOVE HER SON, NO MATTER HOW OLD HE IS"
